a little about myself

My name is Anne and for five decades, I have walked alongside individuals and families during some of the most difficult transitions life can bring. My work as a coach is rooted in deep listening, steadiness and compassion—especially when someone feels overwhelmed, isolated or unsure how to move forward.

I support people navigating family estrangement, grief, life-changing loss, workplace conflict and relational rupture. Many of those I work with are carrying pain that is quiet, complicated and often misunderstood by others—losses that don’t always come with rituals, language or community support. Over the years, I have coached individuals who are grieving the loss of loved ones, relationships, identity and belonging, helping them find grounding and clarity in moments that feel destabilizing.

My approach is shaped not only by professional experience, but by personal understanding. I have witnessed firsthand how relational loss and estrangement can affect an entire family, leaving uneven emotional impact and deep confusion in its wake. That perspective informs how I show up in my work—with care, humility and a strong commitment to creating a safe, non-judgmental space.

Clients often describe my style as supportive, compassionate and steady.

I do not rush healing, impose timelines or ask people to minimize their pain. Instead, I focus on helping individuals slow down, reconnect with themselves, and make choices that protect their emotional well-being. When appropriate, I incorporate grounding practices, gentle reflection and practical tools to support emotional regulation and clarity.

At the heart of my work are simple values: compassion without judgment, support without pressure, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I believe healing happens when people feel seen, believed, and safe enough to tell the truth about where they are.

I am a certified life coach and continue to bring both experience and ongoing learning into my practice. It is an honor to support those who are navigating loss, estrangement and profound life transitions—and to help them find steadiness, meaning and connection again, in ways that feel authentic to them.

I myself have navigated estrangement in family dynamics and was married for 50 years before navigating my own grey divorce. These experiences, as difficult as they were, helped me to understand even more deeply, my clients and the road ahead.

I am a mother, sister, grandmother, friend and guide. I enjoy spending time with my dear friends and family, being still in solitude, listening to live music, continuing to learn how to identify birds and their distinctive calls and helping my gardens grow.
